Hello Friends...
I was really busy (and in a funky mood) for the last 3 weeks... my baby boy left for college! I can't believe time went by so fast... while he is only 1-1/2 hrs away and is already home for the weekend, him leaving was really hard on me... countless sleepless nights just worrying about his future and thinking what life will be, instead of trusting the LORD! Yeah, how silly of me! I should have known God has it!
"And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you." Psalm 9:10 ESV
......
Hopefully I will be in my craft room more often again, because I do love crafting and miss it so much when I don't take the time...
I have a fun rainbow card today... nothing too fancy, just lots of colors and blings! I already had the paintbrush colored and cut out on my desk, so I didn't have to spend much time on this card...
I used watercolor paper and distress inks... I love how the ink reacts to water! So awesome and different every time.
To embellish the card, I used up some of my buttons... I have so many... it's time I started to use them...
Until next time,
Monika

Beautiful card, dear Monika! Hope things go well for your son. Such a frightening time with the virus. I vividly recall our son leaving for the Air Force Academy in 1994...15 hour drive from here. We were devastated. Then in 1999 our daughter left for collegiate, 11 hours away. My mom died three months later. Thank God for faith and trust in Him! I’ll be praying you through these tough days. Keep us posted and let us know how he is doing! Hugs...!

Isn't it so easy to worry and start thinking about the future when God has it all under control? Yes, it is for us all...but what a wonderful Scripture verse you shared. We can always put our trust in the Lord. Amen! What a beautiful card with the lovely watercolors like a rainbow (God's promise). I love the paintbrush and the wonderful buttons...and other bling! Love it all, sweet friend! So glad your son isn't too far! Love and hugs, and stay safe! xoxo

I remember that time when our daughter left for college, it was the same distance away, she didn't come home every weekend but we still were able to see her more often but it was quite a change, now with Covid it is even more stressful I am sure. All we can do is give it to the Lord :)
Your card is so cool, love the splashes of color, great for an artist!
