Hello Sweet Friends! Welcome to our April Release Hop! We're so excited about the new stamps available in the shop this month and can't wait to share the projects we've been working on with you! Hop along to the blogs linked below for all sorts of papercrafting inspiration with the April stamps. Leave a little comment love on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps shop.
Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog, Tuesday, April 23.

I have couple of flower cards showcasing 2 of the new sets.
My first card is with Delightful Daisies clear stamp set along with Keep InTouch Too clear stamp set:

It's been a while since I did stitching on my cards, so it was a nice change. On this card, I used my machine as I was going through thick layers... the flowers were stamped on water color card stock with VersaMark ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder... to add the colors, I loosely water colored them with Jane Davenport markers, then spritzed water on the card stock to disperse the color... the background was water colored with green Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay ink...

My second card was made with the April Stamp of the Month: Happy Days clear stamp sets:

This time, I heat embossed the images on vellum using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder. The stitching was done by hand... just pierced the holes then using a needle and thread, I stitched a line...
The greeting was stamped from Thoughtful Words clear stamp set.

Your next stop on the hop is Sheri Gilson.
I am linking my first card up at Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge: Beautiful Blooms.
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika
