Hello! Each month in addition to the great 3D projects, there is a monthly card challenge, Creating Pretty Cards at Craft Project Central.
Here is sketch #76:
To help you recreate the sketch, each month there is a Sketch Mini Tutorial! This mini tutorial has information about how the inspirational card (using the sketch) was created, supplies used, and basic measurements.
For every ten cards submitted, there's a WINNER of a free month subscription from Craft Project Central!
Here is my take on the sketch:
It took me a while to get it right, but after it all came together, I was very happy with the look... love the gate fold, which was not my favorite thing to do, but wanted to follow the sketch... except my split is not in the middle (I didn't have the sketch in front of me so I had to rely on my memory - which is not the best it seems!)
The background is sponged with blue, pink and black inks, then splashed with water... so cool! The moon is just a punched circle... didn't want to bother with masking and such... LOL!
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Monika, this is so beautiful. I love the background - and the snow and the sleigh...it's all just magical. Great take on the sketch!
