Hello! Just popping in with a card for the Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop:

... and this is my take on the challenge, the use stitching part... not necessary the photo inspiration part:
I know it's not a lot, but I didn't have time to sit down at my craft table until this morning... so I wanted to make something TODAY, before the challenge was over! I got on the 'stitched' bandwagon and ordered some special dies... but I haven't really had time to sit down and stitch anything decent... oh, well... dies might go out of style, but they won't spoil, dry up, fade out...
The sketch came from CAS(E) this Sketch #165.

Stamps: Perfect Pairing (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Peeled Paint distressed ink (Tim Holtz), Onyx Black VersaFine
Paper: white and back (Recollection's by Michael's)... Water color (The Artist's Loft)
Tools: Floral Cluster Die (Papertrey Ink), Blending Tool (Tim Holtz/Ranger)
Embellishments: half pearls (Recollection's by Michael's), thread, yarn, felt
Adhesive: 3M Foam Mounting Tape and Double Sided Tape (Scotch), Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive (Tombo)
What a FABULOUS little felt flower you've got there, Monika!!!!! Oh, it is soooooo beautiful and looks fantastic with the thread nest underneath!!!! And as always, your watercoloured bg is wonderful!!!! Love the black strip and the sentiment!!! Another AWESOME card - you are a true artist and so talented!!! Always a joy coming here to see what you have made!!!!

Loved the water colored background, as usual! I feel the same way about dies. It had been a while since I've had time to craft, but they'll be waiting right there for me when I come back!

Such a sweet card. I love the loops of floss behind the flower and how they make up the leaves and stem...at least, that's what they are in my head! :) Beautiful!
