Hello! Just popping in with a WATER COLORED card. I am terrible at it, but I decided to get a set of Gansai Tambi Kuratake (got a really good deal at Scrap-Mart with the 40% monthly coupon) and see if it can do magic (without me being an artist... LOL!). No such thing tough... I am still not an artist... so it's messy, couldn't do a lot of shading, but it's decent enough...
CRAFTY TIPS:
- The background was 'smooshed' with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
- The inspiration came from TIME OUT Challenges #32. We suppose to CASE Deepti's beautiful card with our own (creative) twist...
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

I think it looks perfect, Monika! I have my eyes set on that same set of watercolors. I'll get there one day. Really love the oranges and shades of black here!

Monika, your watercolouring looks absolutely amazing!!! Those flowers look so real to life I want to reach out and pick them!!! Your choice of colours to go with the B&W and grey is perfect - those flowers really pop!!! Another jaw-dropper!!! Love it!!
Have a fabulous week!!!

Oh, Monika, this is gorgeous! I agree with Shona above to not sell yourself short...it's stunning! Watercoloring is supposed to be loose and free, and I love the flowing movement you've achieved and your beautifully colored (and fussy cut) flowering branch! Stunning card, and it's one that you should be very pleased with! Hugs!

I'm not much of a water colour artist either but you know what, I think your flowers look gorgeous and they really stand out in the Gallery! Thats the good thing about using water colours, you can make mistakes with them or not know what to do with them and they still look good. I think your shading is excellent and its a really brilliant CASE of Deepti's card. So keep water colouring I say and we are always so happy to see you at TIME OUT!
