Hello! Just popping in with a Valentine's Day card. I am bitten by the LOVE bug! I want to put hearts on everything! LOL! It's really bad. I don't send out VD cards so I really don't need any... but what can I do? At least, this one could also pass as an anniversary card.
I am not so crazy about the way I positioned the LOVE die-cut, but it is what it is now...can't change it...
AND look... there is no stamping on my card. Shocking, I know!
The inspiration came from FUSION Card Challenge: Two Hearts.
CRAFTING TIPS:
1. USE your old supplies... the wood grain DP was bought million years ago at Michael's on sale no doubt... the xoxo underneath the greeting is left over from last year...
2. The gold candy dots are from Halloween... picked a pack up on clearance under $1. See the colors individually, and you will find you can use everything for different occasions and themes.
3. I love using my label machine. It is still IN this year, so if you don't have one, pick one up... Don't want to spend a lot? Look for one at yard sales or second-hand stores...
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika
Love how you manage to pull off shabby with elegance! Beautifully done, Monika, as always!!!

Love everything about this. The woodgrain BG, the vellum, the gold and I'm a total sucker for Dymo labels! Have been since playing with the maker during my childhood!

Hadn't noticed you use the labelling machine before ... I think I must have thought it was stamped??? Great fusion of the two images. I think the "love" is perfect. Hugs xxx

LOVE this and it's perfect the way it is...love placement and all! I've been taking many of my Valentine themed cards to work and coworkers buy them. Might as well make a little profit so we can buy more "schtuff". :-)

Oh, your label maker sentiment looks great, Monika!!!! My late father had one years ago and I'll have to ask my mother where it is - hopefully she has still got it and I can have it!!!!
I love the woodgrain bg and the 'love' looks fine where it is!!! The vellum, velt and wooden hearts are beautiful and those candy dots look as if the cost a pretty penny!!!! (I couldn't believe my eyes when I was in Cape Town during the holiday season and saw what enamel dots cost!!! I so love them, but they are just toooo expensive - will have to go without them!!!! Over here the candy dots will definitely not be $1!!! - way, way more!!! - that's if you can find any over here!!!)
Love the little wooden arrow, too!!!
Lovely card definitely fit for VD and an anniversary or just for your loved one any time of the year, hey!!!
Have a great day!!!
