Hello! It's time for a new sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS176:
Since it's the 3rd week of the month, it's with a spin and a prize. The spin is to use the theme: WELCOME FALL, and the prize is a $15.00 Gift Certificate to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.
Here is what I came up with:
The leaf is die cut out of white card stock and vellum. Then the image is stamped on the vellum... the white leaf is sponged around the edges along with the vellum. It looks really neat in real life. The pin was actually sponged with Tim Holtz alcohol ink. I just happened to have some green and red that I kind of mixed...
Recipe: Wait on the Lord and Season of Change clear stamp sets (Sweet'n Sassy Stamps)... Season of Change Leaf and Decorative Plaque die sets (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)... Cajun Craze,Crumb Cake, Vellum card stock and Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Cajun Craze ink pads (SU!)... Color Spritzer Tool and Cajun Craze Stampin' Write Marker (SU!)... Texture Fades-Bricked embossing folder (Tim Holtz) and Dotted Scallop Edger (EK Success)... Prima paper flower, Baker's Twine, ribbon, cheese cloths, pearls, pins...
Make sure you check out what the rest of the Sugar Babies came up with: Cathy McCauley, Chrissy Dickinson, Janice Melton, Korin Sutherland (out this week), and Shannon White.
Enjoy your weekend,
Monika
