I just can't put my butterflies away yet... Fall is upon us, but I am not ready for that theme yet. So here is another pretty butterfly with a bright and cheerful color combo from The Color Throwdown #208. I wasn't going to use a lot of Melon Mambo, but at the end, I loved how it looked behind the embossed vellum. What do you think?
Recipe: New Beginnings and Pennant Party clear stamp sets (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)... Decorative Plaque and New Beginnings Butterflydie set (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps), Square die (Spellbinders) Twiggy Branchdie (Taylored Expressions)... Texture Fades-Bricked embossing folder (Tim Holtz)... Melon Mambo ink pad and Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Garden Green card stock (SU!)... cheese clothes, silver rhinestones...
Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Love this, Monika! How much fun, using the negative frame rather than a punched image! The colors are delightful, and that vellum? Perfection! Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty Monika! I think the vellum really tones down the melon mambo and creates a nice background.

Your card is beautiful - very artistic, which I love. The embossed vellum is really neat. I really like the butterfly in the melon mambo.
