Hello! Today, I am using the new sketch from SplitCoast Stampers, SC394. The inspiration for my card (colors, stitching, buttons) came from The Shabby Tea Room, #123.
I did the stitching by hand. Both of my machines are broken... plus this way, I was able to use thicker thread. It shows up nicer... but it does make the card bulkier. I hope you already have Vintage Postcard stamp set. I can't seem to get away from it. Love using it with everything and everywhere. It just adds a nice little extra stamped over the designer paper.
Recipe: New Beginnings, Vintage Postcard, Decorative Frame Topper clear stamp sets (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)... Decorative Plaque and New Beginnings Butterfly dies (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)... Marina Mist and So Saffron card stock (SU!), Vellum (SU!), Take Note DP (Studio Calico)... Marina Mist, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip ink pads (SU!)... thread, needle, Paper-piercing tools (SU!)... rhinesontes, cheese cloths, buttons... Sponge Dauber...
Thanks for visiting!
