Hello Peeps! We are back with a new sketch at The Sweet Stop, SSS 158:
This sketch was a tough one for me... I wasn't sure what I was going to make... I had a general idea, but then my card went into a totally different direction. I had the sketch, and I wanted to use the inspiration from The Shabby Tea Room #113. I also had a piece of corrugated paper in front of me that had been taunting me for days... so I picked that up, and then I just got messy and played with my stamps and tools.
Recipe: Garden Variety, Garden Variety II, Tag-Its #2clear stamps sets (PTI), Friends 24-7 stamp set (SU!)... Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette card stock, Vellum (SU!), corrugated paper (misc)... Seed Packet Frame 2 die, Garden Variety die set, Notched Flowers die set (PTI)... Butterfly punch (Martha Stewart), 1" and 1/2" Circle punches (Fiskars)... White Acrylic paint... Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose, Soft Suede ink pads (SU!)... Sponge dauber... memo pin (Tim Holtz), buttons (misc), pearls (Michael's), cheese cloths, paper flower (misc), Baker's Twine (misc)...
Make sure you check out what the rest of the Sugar Babies came up with: Cathy McCauley, Chrissy Dickinson, Janice Melton, Korin Sutherland (out this week), Shannon White, Shelby Goolsby, and Wendy Ramlakhan (out this week).
Enjoy your weekend,
Monika

Oh my gosh there is so much on this card! It's just so fun! And I love the corrugated piece as the base. I have one of those crimper things....but I have used it like once like 2 years ago. Bad bad bad. This is a really great card though!

This is the sweetest card ever! I love all the awesome details, the cheesecloth is brilliant - it looks so soft and airy against the corrugated paper - perfect with all the garden accents.
