Since one of my goals for this year is to use my current supplies more often (even thought I am buying just as many/much as before), I decided to play along with Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge. Great way of getting those stamps out and use them!
This week, the challenge (MIM #51) is to make a dimensional sentiment banner, and Nicole has a fabulous video to show you how... I have a bunch of PTI stamps, but I just couldn't find any bold flower images that would work well with what I had in mind, so I had to come up with something else. Its nothing fancy, but I felt I had to keep it simple since I didn't want to make it too bulky and the frame itself wouldn't allow anything too busy...
I bought the new Front & Center #2 die just because I saw Dawn's and Maile's tri-fold cards. I loved the look.
Recipe: Simply Jane and Background Basics:Retrostamp set (PTI)... Crumb Cake cars stock and classic ink pad (SU!)... Front & Center #2 and Simply Jane die collection(PTI)... Baker's Twine, Resin Flower...
Other challenge: A Passion for Papertrey 'Inspired by a book' challenge (what else, but anything from Jane Austen).
Thanks for visiting!
Monika

Fabulous! I never thought of putting the banner inside-but who wouldn't with such a gorgeous front as this one! I also bought the Front and Center die because of Dawn's card! Have fun with your new stuff-we also have the same new year's resolution! :-)

How timely this challenge has turned out to be in light of PTI's Simplly Jane release in January - we decided on the challenges months ago!!!
This is such a beautiful and elegant card and I love the sentiment banner Nichole is shared in the MIM this week. Thanks for playing along with our challenge at APFP.
Hugs,
Caryn x
