Just a quick post with a CAS sympathy card. I really wanted to make something simple, but elegant... what do you think? Did I succeed?
Recipe: Belle Toile BG stamp (SU!), Sentiments Flag stamp set (Lil Inkers)... Sentiments Flags die (Lil' Inkers), Upper Crest Border punch (Fiskars)... Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Crumb Cake, and Wild Wasabi card stock (SU!)... VersaMark and Basic Black ink (SU!)... Clear embossing powder (SU!)... doily (Martha Stewart), flower (Prima), twine (The Twinery), pearls (Michael's)... Sewing machine (Janome)...

This is a perfect sympathy card, Monika! I'm not sure why but purple/lilac and green are just right for that occasion. LOVE the background stamping and the doily and that FAB twine!

Total success. I'm just like everyone else...sympathy cards are difficult. I never feel like it's enough and words just don't communicate how I really feel. This is truly elegant and perfect for a sympathy card.
