I just got some goodies from Papertrey Ink, so I decided to make a card for the February Blog Hop. The theme is scallops so I used a scallop border punch and scallop buttons. :o) This started out as a clean and simple card, but somewhere along the way it turned into this:
Recipe: Button Boutique and Green Thumb stamp sets (PTI)... Kraft card stock (SU!)... Textile Texture embossing folder (Cuttlebug)... Buttoned Up #2 die (PTI)... Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, and Pink Pirouette classis ink pads (SU!) and VersaMark... Paper-piercing tools... Clear embossing powder... Hug Snug Seam Binding Ribbon... Baker's Twine... pin... White Vintage button (PTI)...
Challenges: Papertrey Paper Dolls, challenge #32... Incy Wincy Designs, challenge #81-punches or dies... The Shabby Tea Room, challenge #50-Buttons & Bows...
Thanks for visiting!
Monika

Lots of shabby goodness here! I love everything about this- the colors, the buttons, the seam binding, the stick pin- everything!
I really love how in the photo the clear embossing on the buttons gives them a bit of a "pearly" appearance- too beautiful!
