Good Morning! Stacey's new challenge is here, Curtian Call Color Challenge {Act 54}:
I did have a hard time with these colors... I didn't want to make a fall card so I used my trusty Vintage Vogue set. I used White instead of Very Vanilla, since I didn't have that...
I had a great image of a card in my head, getting the inspiration from Julia Stainton's card, but I don't think I found the balance as fabulously as she did... oh, well... I tried... What do you think? Is it too busy?
Recipe: Vintage Vogue, Just Believe, and French Script stamps (SU!)... More Mustard and Cajun Craze card stock (SU!)... More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze classic ink pads (SU!)... Labels Forteen die (Spellbinders Nestabilities)... butterflies punches and paper doily (Martha Stewart)... ribbon, button, and rhinestones (misc)... sponge dauber (SU!)
I did make another card... something clean and simple to balance my busy card:
Recipe: French Script and Three Little Words stamps (SU!)... More Mustard and Really Rust card stock and Really Rust classic ink pad (SU!)... leaf punch (Marvy)... paper doily (Martha Stewart)... ribbon, button, pearls, thread (misc)...
The Curtain Call Crew has samples to show you today, so make sure to stop by to see:

These are both gorgeous! I normally prefer the more CAS cards, but in this case I think the first one is my favorite! You used a perfect balance of the colors and did an amazing job layering the flowers and gems.
