I've been trying... trying hard to craft. I don't know what's with me. Last night I spent about 1 1/2 hours in my carft room, ending up with a big mess on my desk and no card. Not even half a card. I was just totally lost. Same thing happened this past weekend.
I had better luck this morning. I usually try to craft after the kids go to sleep at night, but today I decided to put on Sesame Street A Musical Celebration DVD for Baby, and I sneak up in my craft room. It worked! He was happy and I made a card. My room is in the same living area, just up the stairs so I can see and hear what's going on in the living room.
So... finally I was inspired... by a sketch from Silke who's hosting this week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. You know how I love circles! So of course I had to participate! I used the colors from ColorQ's newest challenge.
Recipe: Vintage Vouge, Priceless, French Script BG stamps (Stampin' Up!)... Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, and Apricot Appeal card stock (SU!)... Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze, and Cameo Coral Classic ink (SU!)... White taffeta ribbon (SU!)... scallop circle, circle and labels four dies (Spellbinders)... Scroll punch (EK Success)... Victoria embossing folder (Cuttlebug)... Bow Easy bow-maker... rhinestones, button, white thread...
I had couple of you asking how I make my circle cards, so since I had these pictures on my SD card, here is a quick tutorial:
Version 1:
Version 2: Die cut 2 scallop circles...
PS: Just noticed that the name is SCALLOPED, so pardon me for always using scallop...
Thanks for visiting!

Your card is beautiful Monika and I loved your tutorial. Thanks for sharing. When I have trouble making a card or a scrappage I find it is either because I am too tired or I have too much on my mind. Now that the good weather is here I will be out walking and not making cards. :)
