Dutch Dare-Card Challenges is celebrating it's 1st anniversary. Wow! I can't believe it's been that long! We are doing a special challenge this week. We got a letter from a volunteer at Post-Pals, an organization in the UK that features seriously ill children and asks the public to send a card to a child.
So all you have to do is make a card for a child and maybe send it to someone so YOU can brighten a sick child's day. We, the Design Team members are going to send our cards out. To make it more interesting for you, we each going to pick a name and send the person a surprise RAK package! And that's not all... you could also win some Alota stamps and a Hanglar stamp!
So what are you waiting for?
Here is the card I made:
I used the sketch from Stamping Bella... the color combination came from Stacey... except I used a much deeper pink color...
Stamps: agnes KETTO (Stamping Bella) and Mixed Messages (Papertrey Ink)...
Paper: Garden Green, Certainly Celery, and Pink Passion (SU!)...
Ink: Pitch Black Adirondack (Ranger Ink)... Copic Markers and Silver Spica Copic marker...
Embellishments: flowers (Prima), pearls (Michael's), ribbon (misc)...
Tools: oval and scallop oval dies (Spellbinders Nestabilities), Tiny Tags die and Fantasy embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Provo Craft), Picket Fence border punch (Martha Stewart), Ticket Corner punch (SU!), trimming scissors (Fiskars)...
Thanks for looking!
Monika
