Yesterday I borrowed 2 stamp sets from Tracy to play with. I was hoping to get a new set, but now I don't mind the 2 'old' but not retired sets, because I am having so much fun with SU! Wild Rose DD. There are so many beautiful cards on SCS, so I just got ideas from a bunch of samples and made this card. It's for yesterday's WT121-Stylus Challenge. I used my stylus to emboss the outside of the roses... After stamping the roses and leaves, using masking technique, I turned the vellum over and run the stylus over the edges of the roses. It gave a really nice dimensional look to the roses. Can you see it on the picture?
Under the vellum, the background is Night of Navy card stock and a Bashful Blue oval which I cut with my Sizzix machine, using the oval frame die. I also stamped Weathered BG on it with Always Artichoke.
To attach the vellum to the card, I used brads on the 4 corners. I also did some paper-piercing in the corners and around the oval.
The tag is punched out with SU! small oval punch, matted on Night of Navy and cut around with Fiskars Scallop scissors. I attached the tag with brads... to make it a little bit shiny, I put Diamond Stickles on the roses. I really like how it turned out. This is a truly beautiful stamp set and no matter what you do, you can't go wrong... Thank you Tracy for letting me use it!

I also have an ATC card for you. I made it last week and it's perfect for Maria's TIC Day #4 challenge. I really enjoy doing her challenges. Check out her sites... she is a wonderful artist and her projects are truly wonderful.
I used SU! Eat Cake stamp set for the cake. The background is embossed with Cuttlebug-Happy Birthday embossing plate. Also I ran a Rose Red stampin' spot over the background before embossing to give it some shading... I used Marvy punches for the frame and paper-piercing tools and white gel pen to do the faux stitching...
Have a wonderful weekend!
