Today we are revisiting the new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!
... and this is what I came up with:
This time, I just put some gray Gelatos on the card stock, blended it a bit, then I put a stencil on top, and using a baby wipe, carefully removed some of the color. I saw the tutorial on Kimberly's blog. The stencil came from Hero Arts.
I stopped by a local stamp store on Saturday and found some goodies, including the stencil. For some reason, I never thought of checking that store out before (all I remembered that they have wood stamps I don't use anymore, and art supplies)... but will keep it mind now, because they have a great collection of Hero Arts and Stampendous products... and DIES! If you are in the Concord are in NH, check it out: Art Plus. The prices are pretty much the same as at any on-line stores, but no shipping charges and waiting time! Perfect for me! I hate waiting a week for my goodies to arrive and paying for shipping!
On another note, I used some of the sweet supplies my Secret Santa, Kim sent me! The DP, the stitched edge rectangle panel, the stitched sentiment flag die, the die-cut sentiment, the wood veneer heart, and the sequins came from the stash! Thank you again Kim!
Now, back to the challenge... if you would like to see more samples, stop in over at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge... and if you want all of the design team cards, inspiration and the winners in one place - make sure to follow the Curtain Call boards on Pinterest!
