Good Morning! Its time for a new sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS164:
I had a hard time with this sketch at first, but then it came together rather nicely... even though it was so hot in my craft room I hardly had to use my heat gun on the embossing powder (LOL-not really). At first, I was going to turn it into a square card, but finally I worked it out so it remained a rectangle.
Recipe: Treasured and Vintage Postcard clear stamp sets (Sweet n' Sassy Stamps)... Soft Sky, Island Indigo and Cameo Coral card stock (SU!)... VersaMark, Island Indigo, Cameo Coral, and Srushed Curry ink pads (SU!)... Victoria embossing folder (Cuttlebug)... Pennants & More die set (Sweet n' Sassy Stamps)... Black embossing powder, sponge dauber, pearls, twine, lace, mini stamples, cheese clothes, book page, heat gun, watercolor brush...
Make sure you check out what the rest of the Sugar Babies came up with: Cathy McCauley, Chrissy Dickinson, Janice Melton, Korin Sutherland (out this week), Shannon White, Shelby Goolsby, and Wendy Ramlakhan (out this week).
The lovely color combo came from Colour Q (#143)...
Enjoy your weekend,
Monika

An absolutely gorgeous card Monika. I love the way that you used the color combo and the way that you put the tiny pearls into the center of the flower. Your use of the twine and the lace is beautiful.
Hope you are cooler today. It has been so hot here.
