TE October Key Ingredients Blog Hop...

Welcome to Taylored Expressions October Key Ingredients Blog Hop. I love these kits with fabulous designer papers and matching accessories. I don't need to spend time finding things to go together. It's all in the kit. Makes it so easy when you have everything on hand... and the plastic case is just perfect. I can keep my supplies in one place, and move everything if needed... no mess. 

I decided to make a scrappy card. It was a challenge for me, but hope I managed to come up with something that works. What do you think?

I've been seeing these paper medallions, so I decided to make one... looks great with the pretty DP.

I used pretty much everything from the Kit. Crate Paper-Farmhouse Collection DP, card stock, grosgrain ribbon, and brads. The images are from Discover Your Wings, A Year of Sweet Sentiments, and Pennant a la Carte stamp sets... I also used Pennat Border Die. The Liquid Pearl on the pennat came from last month's kit.

SNSS-Flowers in Bloom...

Good Morning! Today is my day to post on the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog, and I wanted to make a card that is fairly simple, but not a total CAS card... so I decided to use a pretty SNSS flower image, a simple lay-out, but add some texture to my card. How? Just by dry embossing. stitching, and distressing the background piece. I also stamped an extra butterfly, cut the wings out, and attached them to the original image with dimensional tape...

 I decided to make another Fall card... can't get enough of my stamp and die set! lol...

I made another wreath, this time with twine... using 2 circle dies, I die cut a round shape, and wrapped it with Cappuccino Baker's Twine (used about 5 1-yard pieces... it is easier to wrap the circle if you have small pieces). Then I decorated the wreath with leaves. What do you think?

As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month. SplitCoast is currently hosting a card drive called Hope You Can Cling To, and TE is a proud sponsor of the event.  We want to show our support for the card drive with our sketch cards during the month of October, so today we are featuring PINK as the predominant color on our cards.
