Good Morning Peeps! The heat waive is still here, but it suppose to get cooler this afternoon... we will see... I am ready to get into my craft room again... had to stay out of it for couple of days... good thing I finished my SSS 118 card early this week. I usually leave it until the last minute...

 

I got couple of Magenta stamps at the Rubber Stamp Show I went to last month... this post card image was one of them. They have some really nice vintage images... but unfortunatelly, they are in Canada...

Good Morning Peeps! The heat waive is here with full blast until Saturday evening. I managed to finish all of my projects for the week so I don't have to go into my hot craft room if I don't want to... my head is full of different ideas so I might just have to suffer through the heat... or I just have to give it a rest! We are going to have my son's friend over today, then another one tomorrow and the day after... so I might be just busy enough not to think of stamping...

Anyways... here is my card for today... it started out as a matching card for a project I've been working on, but had to change couple of things so it would work with the sketch I wanted to use...

 
 

I am in love with fabric these days so I just had to get this new design from SU!. The colors and print are just beautiful. The one with the rooster is my least favorite, but it worked great with this card and my project.

Beau Chateau Designer Fabric... Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder... Spiral border punch... Paper-piercing tools... Marina Mist 3/8" Taffeta ribbon (retired)... Doily die (PTI)... chipboard frame (Tattered Angels)... paper flower (Prima)... buttons, pins, pearls, crocheted flower, white yarn (misc)... sponge dauber... felt (misc)...

I put 2 layers of felt under the fabric to make it look like a pin cushion. This worked great, since it's not too bulky, but soft enough to use pins... what do you think?
