So we were part of 330,000 people who lost electricity Thursday night due to a fierce snow/rain/wind storm. It was so scary! I had a rough night sleeping that night... kept thinking that the roof is going to blow away.
Luckily we do have a generator so at least we have the basic stuff, even THE computer.
So yesterday I managed to make a card. I really wanted to make something for the
Fun with Floss challenge at Moxie Fab World. I enjoyed Kim's 'article' on using embroidery floss and I just had to play along. I don't embroider, but I do have some nice colored floss in my stash... you know... just incase I need it for craft related emergencies!
Recipe: Embrace Life and Full of Life stamp sets (
SU!)... Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede card stock (SU!)... Old Olive classic ink (SU!)... Circle and Scallop Circle dies (Spellbinders)... butterflies punches (Martha Stewart)... sewing machine... embroidery floss, rhinestones, button...
What do you think? I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for visiting,
Monika

This is a WOW card! I love that you used floss and that you also did some sewing on your card. How cool that you had the floss just waiting to be used. :)
