Joy...

I am trying... trying to spend time in my craft room… hopefully the heat will let off soon and I can have more fun...

I started this card as 4 1/4" x 4 1/4", but had to trim it down. So it ended up 3 1/8" x 4 1/8". I had this picture in my mind... I wanted to use this technique I saw in the current SU! catalog (pg 50. a touch of texture) and I wanted to try out my new Score It Mini I had received from  2 Sketches 4 You for making the Top 5 in the Ultimate Card Showdown. :o)

I think I need to practice the scoring, and I will need smaller dots the next time... What do you think?

Tools: Oak Leaf punch (Martha Stewart)... scallop square, oval and scallop oval dies (Spellbinders Nestabilities)... 1/4" hole punch (misc)... Score-It Mini board... Bow-Easy bow maker... trimming scissors...

I really like your card. Those Nestabillities are the bomb! I agree that smaller dots might look better. As far as I could see your scoring was okay.
