Can you believe it?! I made the top 5 at 2 sketches 4 you. I was really surprised because I thought the other cards were all fabulous... and mine was pretty simple compared to some of those... I am pretty sure this will be it for me... I mean I don't think I can top the other 4 very talented ladies this time... They are all soooo creative!
I didn't do a lot of stamping on this card, so hopefully this works. What do you think?
This was a hard sketch. It was my husband who came up with the fold, but he thought this looked too Halloween-ish because of the colors... hmmmm... I just don't know... usually I follow the sketch closely but this time I did it differently... and now I am second guessing myself...
inside:
Stamps: Full of Life and Friends 24-7 (SU!)...
Paper: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss (SU!)... vellum (misc)...
Ink: Tangerine Tango and Basic Black (SU!)...
Embellishments: pearls (Michael's), button (Autumn Leaves), ribbon...
Tools: Textile embossing folder (Cuttlebug-Provo Craft), Eyelet border punch (SU!), Beautiful Butterflies die (Sizzix by SU!), sewing machine, flower punch (misc)...
Helpful Hints: The black butterfly behind the Tangerine Tango one is cut by hand… the tiny flowers are both the same size- I just roughed the edges up on the Tangerine Tango flowers… butterfly is attached to the panel on the right side… edges were roughed up with my nails…
