Autumn pocket card...
I made this pocket card couple of weeks ago as one of the challenges on SCS but we lost Internet that day so I didn't do a post... so here it is, before Fall is over.
I am not a fan of pocket cards... I like standing cards... so it was a great challenge for me.
I used SU! retired Four Seasons Designer Series Double Sided Paper with SU! Perennial Favorites stamp set...
1. I folded the So Saffron card stock according to the tutorial... and rounded the corners.
2. Stamped the leaves with Apricot Appeal Craft ink on the flap... did some paper-piercing and dry embossed some dots with my Crop-o-dile... and added the ribbon that I colored with a Copic Marker...
3. Cut the designer paper, and stamped some leaves on with VersaMark and embossed them using Psychedelic Embossing Powder. Punched the Word Window... added ribbon... and mounted it on the card. Then I stamped 'autumn' through the window on the So Saffron card with Bravo Burgundy.
4. I added the brads to the flap and using sticky strip I closed up the side of the pocket card to make the pocket...
5. The tag is So Saffron with some of the striped paper on top... rounded the corners and did some more dry emboss dots... Stamped the greeting which is from SU! Happy Birthday with Bravo Burgundy...
6. Next I worked on the scallop circle embellishment. Stamped a leaf on white with Apricot Appeal Craft ink and embossed it with Psychedelic Embossing Powder. Punched it out with the 1 1/4" Circle punch, then matted on a 1 3/8" So Saffron circle and attached it to the Bravo Burgundy Scallop Circle... paper-pierced the scallops and finally added that onto the tag.
No snow yet... but it's getting colder. Although today it was nice on the sun. Enjoy your afternoon and see you tomorrow.
