Hello! I'm back with a fall card today. It felt so good to stamp again... and I am happy with the result! I have some leaf stamp sets, but I thought the shapes were so nice in the Vintage Leaves stamp and die set from Stampin' Up!
The background was smooshed with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
I water colored a piece of water color cardstock with light yellow and copper colors, stamped the leaf image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then die-cut the leaf with the coordinating die.
The leaf is popped up on dimensional tape.
The colors came from ColourQ Challenges (I somehow found an old color combo and thought it was the current challenge... now I can't find the colors)
To make the background, I swiped my white craft pad over the black cardstock.
The leaves were inked up with Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Tangerine Tango ink (with a little bit of Rock 'n Roll technique). I was going to use Enclosed: Apple Stamp, but I thought the leaf image was too big...
I made a shaker card, using Hillside Edges Die set in the background. The sweet little holly was stamped on a scrap piece of card stock and was colored and cut out (in addition to the main birdhouse image) then it was popped up with dimensional tape.

Don’t you just love fall when the weather is crisp and cool and the leaves look like a colorful shawl spread over the trees? In this tutorial, you’ll learn to replicate those beautiful fall leaves with the Vintage Leaves stamp set and a little ink and cardstock. You’ll use them to create a beautiful fall bowl and greeting card. And I’ll show you a fun way to use the new Stampin’ Up! Cotton Paper Assortment to dress up an ordinary candle. Each of these projects would make a fun class, or you could offer all three together as a stamp camp.

Hello! I've slowed down with card making the last couple of weeks. It's been just so busy with house guests, getting ready for school and getting ready to host an international exchange student. So for the first time in 10+ year, stamping is not that important. After I made the decision to take it easy, I felt so much better... I don't feel pressured to craft. Don't fret... I won't be giving up stamping... I have a feeling after school starts and we settle into a routine, I will be get back to it with full speed...
Today I felt like crafting... plus I needed a card for a teen boy... I hope it's not too cute!
The background was smooshed with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
The sweet little chicken was stamped with Jet Black Archival ink, then was water colored with water colors.

Make this elegant wedding (or birthday) table décor set to dress up your table. You will make a decorative fan that will look great in a shadow box later, a small box for treats or gifts, a wand style table décor, and a greeting card that can serve as an invitation or a thank you card. Add some classy look to your assemble with gold embossing and soft water coloring. Great for a stamp camp, or as a class project.
This tutorial teaches three different projects that can be made with the Gift Bag Punch Board, other than the regular gift bag. There’s a bag with a flap lid, a gable box, and a gift box. Hello! I have a 'scrap' pile on my desk with lots of stamped/die-cut/punched images... so I decided to use couple of those on today's card... the sunflower and the die-cut word was from a project from last week... the middle of the sunflower is off just an hair, so I stamped another one for that card... I am not sure what was wrong with the die-cut word, but I used 'sending' on the other card... so this was just laying around on my desk..
I smooshed the background with Daffodil Delight.
The adhesive showed through the vellum butterflies, so I decided to use staples to cover it.
I didn't have the right color candy dots, so I die-cut some tiny circles and covered them with Glossy Accents.
The sketch came from Cardabilities #127. It's been a while since I visited their sight... I forgot how much I loved their sketch style.
