JustRite suspension card...

Today's challenge at SCS is to make a suspension card... I started to make a card yesterday using my JustRite DIY Monogram Stamper and I thought that image would look great suspended... I just followed the directions/tutorial to make the card.

TLC176-Suspention card

Stamps: JustRite DIY Monogram Stamper and Geometric Flowers backgrounder (Cornish Heritage Farms)...

Paper: Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate, and Chocolate Chip (SU!)... Attractive designer paper (Sugared Collection by Basic Grey)...

Ink: Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive (SU!)...

Access: green thread, pink micro dots (a-muse)...

Tools: circle and scallop circle dies (Spellbinders Nestabilities), distressing tool, sewing machine, butterfly punch (Martha Stewart), Xyron 150 sticker maker...

TLC176-Suspention card-turned

Helpful Hints: punched 4 butterflies out of PPomegranate and 4 out of Basic Grey paper... then I ran the PPomegranate butterflies through my sticker maker and attached those to the card (one is inside of card)... Basic Grey butterflies are on dimensionals...

Xyron sticker machine

I got this small sticker maker a while ago. I don't use it very often, but when I work with small cut outs or punched images, its a great help. I used one of my 40% coupons at Jo-Ann's so it was very inexpensive... Just a small tool that can be very handy...

JustRite Stamper and OCC challenge...

I checked out the challenge at Our Creative Corner... use Basic Grey designer paper... and I had just the right card for it...

I really like my JustRite Monogram DIY Stamper set. Seeing Debbie's wonderful cards, I decided to find short provers and stamp those out.

DS had to learn a proverb every week and I kept those... so I went through them and picked this one: " A friend loves at all times"... and this is the first card I made using it... When you take the time and spell out something like this with the JustRite stamper... you want to stamp a bunch of it out at the same time so you don't have to go through all that again... it does take a while to arrange the letters... put them back...you know what I mean...

Basic Grey-proverb

Stamps: JustRite Monogram DIY Stamper kit... French Script Background stamp (retired SU!)...

Paper: Sugared Collection (Basic Grey)...

Ink: Chocolate Chip and Cameo Coral (SU!)...

Magnolia challenge card...

This week's Magnolia DT challenge is to make a Triangle Tri-fold card... here is Beate's tutorial. It's an awesome fold and soo easy. I actually received a tri-fold card from Beate so I used that as my inspiration.

I used dots on the background for the challenge at Tilda & Co Sunday Challenge Blog.

I needed a baby boy card so I decided to use Sitting Alvin for the main image...

Sitting Alvin tri fold-inside

Don't forget about my blog candy!

Also wanted to remind you of the challenge at Dutch Dare-Card Challenges... It's super easy this week... just use any type of stamped image...

CHF-Making the Grade meets JustRite Stamper...

The piano recital was good... we enjoyed my son's 2 minutes of 'fame' tremendously... he did awesome considering his age. I am so proud of him... he is so smart and capable of doing wonderful things when he wants to... and there are times when I want to pull my hair out...

I made this card for my son's teacher 2 weeks ago, when they had the graduation... I actually used blue and red because of the color challenge at CHF that week, but I never go to do the post until now...

Making the grade-graduation card

Stamps: Making the Grade-The Kim Hughes Collection (Cornish Heritage Farms), JustRite Monogram DIY Stamper...

Paper: The Paper Company...

Ink: Real Red (SU!), Pitch Black Adirondack (Ranger Ink), JustRite Stamper self ink, Copic Marker...

Access: buttons, black brads, lace, gingham black ribbon (SU!), paper flower (Hero Arts)...

Tools: circle dies (Spellbinders Nestabilities), Ticket Corner punch (SU!), distressing tool...

And this is the greeting, under the main image... you just flip the circle up and there it is (I saw this lay-out on a blog... sorry, but I can't remember the name of the blog... so I can't give her a credit...)

Sailor Edwin DT card...

I received my first Magnolia DT package with images from the Summer & Sea 2008 Collection. I was able to make a card yesterday... my first DT Magnolia card!

I wanted to make sure that I had 3 different embellishments (brads, dewdrops, and ribbon) so it would fit challenge #14 at Cute Card Thursday.
